My top 5 Vintage Shops in Florence, Colorado

After being locked up for so long in the house my husband and I took a drive to little town west of us, called Florence.  This town is coined the antiques capital of Colorado.  I have often come here to find that specific designer piece that is unique and eye catching.  I often gravitate to architectural salvage pieces and old trinkets that remind me of days gone by.  In this post I am sharing with you my secret top shops that are worth a road trip.

My all-time favorite shop is Salvage Antiques Vintage, Etc.  After being an auto shop for years this place has been transformed into a vintage dream.  One side of the shop has lots of wood from old buildings and a host of old windows.  I also enjoy the mid-century modern furniture and décor.  The front of the shop also has a multi-faceted wall of old locks, doorknobs, and other home fixtures.

Erin who runs the place is truly knowledgeable and willing to help you with all your design ideas.  If you leave this shop empty handed your must have missed something.

Taylor d’home looks like something out of magazine!  Every inch of each display has been thought out with great care.  Though some of the products are new here, there are many high-end antiques tucked into every corner.  This is a place you could spend hours.  I feel as though I have come to my mecca when entering here.  If I were able, I really could buy everything in this store.  This is a MUST!

Are you looking for well made and beautiful antiques for your home?  103 Vintage Market has really fine quality furniture and décor.  This shop is owned by 5 women who really have an eye for great vintage pieces. The owners travel the country every year to find that one-of-a-kind pieces that is in quality condition. The shop used to be a bank and still houses the vault!  The staff are friendly, helpful, and really know about every hand-picked piece.  I love coming here to pick up something that I did not even know I needed.

OIL City Merchants – Antiques Shoppes.  This place is filled with large pieces that you really cannot find anywhere else.  Do you need a deer head to accent your wall?  Have you been looking for an old coke machine to provide a conversation piece?  What about vintage signs from old buildings? Look no further than 103, it has got the one thing you have been looking for.

The Loralie Antiques Mall – if you did not find what you where looking for here, take another trip around the store!  I love the feeling of this packed antiques mall.  There is so much stuff you really must take your time and focus on all the wonderful goodies that this place has to offer.  The store is open 7 days a week and draws a big crowd. I often feel like I have been transformed to my childhood with every item: which includes old cooking pieces, old toys, dolls, furniture and more.
